18 May 2021, 2020 Millennium Technology Prize Ceremony

The 2020 Millennium Technology Prize Winner Announcement and Award Ceremony will be live-streamed on 18 May 2021 at 6pm (EEST). The Prize is presented to the Winner by the President of the Republic of Finland Sauli Niinistö, Patron of the Prize. We warmly welcome you to follow the Ceremony online. 

The Millennium Technology Prize is Finland’s tribute to innovations for a better life. The Prize, one million euros, is awarded biennially for ground-breaking technological innovations that create new markets and benefit millions of people around the world. 

19 May 2021, Millennium Innovation Forum

The Millennium Innovation Forum on 19 May 2021 at 9:00-5:30 (EEST) will be organized as a virtual event, with speakers on-site and participants online. 

The line-up of internationally renowned speakers is guaranteed to stir your heart and open your mind. The focus of the Forum is on how the research, knowledge and innovation impact the wellbeing and future of our society.
